Saddle Up, an annual Pigeon Forge event, brings the Wild West to the city of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Wrapping up the Pigeon Forge WinterFest 2011 festivities  is the 11th Annual Saddle Up Week, sponsored by the city of Pigeon Forge.  This year Saddle Up runs from February 24th-27th.  This award-winning festival brings entertainment presented the cowboy way, including concerts by western musicians,  cowboy poets and chuckwagon cooks to the Smoky Mountains.

Get ready to Saddle up and Giddy Up on over to the Chuckwagon Cookoff on the 26th at Clabough’s Campground (tickets Sold at the campground on the day event only).  Competing teams will prepare an authentic trail hand lunch to see who is the Rootenest Tootenest chef  in the West, west side of Pigeon Forge that is.

Chuckwagon Cookoff!

With multiple concerts planned, bring your cowboy hat and your boots and get ready to have a Good ol’ Time.  Sunday the Cowboy Church, at Stages West Western Store, will close out the Saddle Up festivities the right way.  This will be a  non-denominational service, so come on down to worship the Cowboy Way. You can even grab breakfast before the service at Stages West.

Tickets to Saddle Up! concerts and “An Intimate Evening with Wylie & the Wild West” (SOLD OUT!) will be sold online in advance and at Smith Family Dinner Theater on Feb. 24 & 25, based on availability.  Tickets purchased Feb. 7 or later must be picked up at the ticket office at Smith Family Dinner Theater, 2330 Parkway, in Pigeon Forge.

Note: Events, schedules and entertainers are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Just like a cowboy’s work, Saddle Up! events take place rain or shine. Thus, no refunds are available for any event.
