Away from it all cabin was the best cabin weve stayed in so far. The view was incredible and the hot tub on the deck made it perfect. It was very nice and clean when we arrived. We loved reading the notes left in the alcohol bottles about the experience an d we also left a note about how wonderful our experience was too. The view was stunning! We were a little nervous driving so high up with our minivan but my husband handled it without a problem! The cabin had some really nices touches. They had journals for you to record your thoughts and comments. It was nice to rea d the experiences others had at the same cabin we were staying at! I loved being able to add our story to it as well! We have stayed several times at American patriot properties and would definitely again!

The cabin was amazing. It far exceeded our expectations and we had the most wonderful weekend. All of the communication prior to our stay as excellent, particularly the detailed directions to get there. The facilities in the cabin, especially the heat and hot tub, were fantastic as it was a very cold weekend when we were there. Our only suggestion would be a few more cleaning supplies, such as dish washing towels and scrubbing brush. Thanks you so much for an unforgettable weekend.

What a great experience. From booking to staying in the cabin, it was an awesome experience. The only suggestion I have at this time is that the 'street' sign that shows the addresses of the 4 or 5 cabins on that part of Foxberry should be updated to show the 2316 address, otherwise it was a lucky guess on our part to turn there and find the cabin. The cabin was clean, it had everything we needed for our stay, and the view was beautiful.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We got in late and the fog was HORRIBLE but we found it and was amazed. We didn't get to see the view until the morning once the fog lifted but it was amazing. Drizzles most of the time we were there but the hot tub and pool table were great to keep us occupied. Very clean! I would definitely stay here again and with Patriot!

Everything was very clean and very welcoming. We are already discussing bringing the family back with us next time. The Service from APG was fantastic from start to finish. The booking process, information documents and check-in processes were easy to follow. The cabin itself was fabulous. It was everything we wanted and more. it was very clean, well equipped and in goo d condition. The only point I can think to make is that a bath robe for guests to use when exiting the lovely hot tub might be nice!!! Other than that nothing. 5* from me.

The cabin was comfortable and very clean. The views were absolutely amazing. You could go in the cabin and fix something to eat ( which was very convienent by the way ) and walk past the windows going to the table and just go WOW. It kind of catches you off gaurd how far you can see. We really liked the access to so many different parts of the parkway without having to actually travel the full length with all the traffic. The hot tub on the deck was very relaxing and the perfect spot to watch the sunse t behind the mountains. Loved EVERY minute, till time to leave. We will be back. This was our 7th wedding ann. & had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for our needs. A couple of items to note about the cabin was the exterior door to the deck would not pull all the way shut and the privacy barrier beside the hot tub was very loose due the nails in the center on both side had come loose. If you experience severe wind this barrier wall would come out. Other than this we were very happy with the cabin and may even look in to purchasing a cabin of our own in the future. We may be conta cting you to rent our cabin, who knows?

Away from it all was all we hoped it to be. We will be making a return trip back to the same cabin in the near future. The only complaint we have is that we had to leave and come home. We did notice the hot tub light didn't work but that did not take away from any part of out stay. Once again we can't wait to return to "Away from it all".

We had a great time. The cabin was spotless. It snowed the night/morning of our check-out and the staff was great in allowing us an extra hour to make sure the road down the mountain was drive-able.
