River Romp has been providing floating fun for over 14 Years. We provide a safe tubing experience with a knowledgeable staff and the best equipment including life jackets. A River Romp Afternoon is perfect for families, couples or groups and we provide extra options like shuttle service, fishing, picnic grounds, food and shopping.
A River Romp afternoon is a great way to relax and keep cool on a hot summer day. This lazy day float, down a scenic river, is a wonderful way to experience the beauty of the “seldom seen” side of the Smokies. Each trip takes approximately two hours, afterwards we will shuttle you back to “The Barn” where you can, at your option, picnic on our grounds, fish or take another ride down the river at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. That is a full day of fun and adventure for the entire family.

The River Romp Tubing Trip

Follow This Simple Guide for Maximum Tubing Comfort
*Bathing suits or shorts
*T-Shirt
*Sport sandals or flip-flops(be careful they don’t float away)
*Sunscreen- particularly if you are fair skinned. The water reflects and enhances the chance of sunburn.
*If you choose to wear prescription or sunglasses we recommend string or Chums to hold them in place.
*Be certain to bring a change of clothes and a towel.

From Knoxville, TN — I-40 East for to exit 407. Travel 8 miles to the intersection of 66 and US 411(Dolly Parton Parkway, Turn left onto US 411(Dolly Parton Parkway). Travel 2.6 miles to a Right onto US 416(Pittman Center Road). Travel 2 miles on US 416 and the River Romp Tube and Kayak “Barn” will be on your Left.
From Pigeon Forge, TN — Travel South on 441(The Parkway) to Traffic light #8(Dollywood Lane) and turn Left. Continue across bridge and continue 2.7 miles on Middle Creek Road, Do not turn off of Middle Creek Road. You will then turn Right onto JAYELL RD (this is at a traffic light) you will then travel to the end of Jayell Rd. to US 416. Turn Left and travel 0.1 mile across the bridge and the River Romp Tube and Kayak “Barn” will be on your Right.
From Gatlinburg, TN — North on 441 to Pigeon Forge, continue to traffic light #8(Dollywood Lane) and turn Right.
