Located at Fiddlers' Feast, Uncle Bud and The Dixie Darlins' boasts a Southern-cooked box lunch and Southern family show. It's everything you like about the South- the cooking, the hospitality, the humor and the music. Experience the traditional, upbeat, homespun songs of the South, along with the fast-paced dancing, singing and Southern charms of the Dixie Darlins', as well as the knee-slapping humor and country-fried talent of Uncle Bud.
In paying homage to the ole' South's brand of entertainment, the show measures up to the size of its meal - jam-packed with Southern flavor and exceeding expectations. Uncle Bud and the Dixie Darlins' serve up a helping of Cajun tunes, mixed with a cappella gospel, trick fiddling,yodeling, some Dolly Parton, and so much more! Throughout the multi-course show, non-stop laughter will pepper your experience as Uncle Bud regales folks with his hilarious stories and jokes in between the toe-tappin' tunes from all over the South.
The bountiful meal features country fried chicken, homestyle baked beans, creamy coleslaw, gourmet potato chips, and southern apple pie with unlimited lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Lunch starts at 11:00 am and the show begins at 1:00 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The show runs April thru October. Group discount rates apply to groups of twenty (20) or more.
