Highlander

The Highlander cabin is just what you are looking for when it comes to a getaway for family and friends. This cabin boasts AMAZING VIEWS of Mount Le Conte and the Smoky Mountains year round, with 4 Master Suites, 2 King and 2 Queen each with private baths and large Jacuzzi tubs plus private showers. This cabin offers plenty of room on two levels for friends and family to enjoy a Smoky Mountain Getaway. The main level offers a kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms and a covered deck with plenty of chairs, rockers and a picnic table and charcoal grill. The lower level also offers 2 bedrooms, a game area with pool table and a deck with rockers, chairs and a hot tub. With each bedroom and the living area offer TV's, there is a gas fireplace in the living area and wireless internet access for those folks that just can't getaway from work. We stayed at the Highlander for 4 nights. The day of our arrival, we were a little late, since we were coming from Baton Rouge, I got a call from Jamie (guest services) to ask about us and if we were o.k. On the way to the cabin, we got lost, so we called guest services and someone (sorry don't remember the name) "talked" us all the way to the cabin. The cabin was very clean, very comfortable and everything that we needed was already there. The a/c, hot tub, and all appliances worked perfectly. Trash collection was done promptly (thanks Rebecca - guest services). The view from the cabin was breathtaking. The area where the cabin is situated was peaceful and quiet and there were a couple of stores within 5 minutes, and Gatlinburg was 10 minutes away.I must say that this is the first time I have used patriot getaways and it will definitely not be the last. These guys really know how to treat their guests. On a scale of 10 I will give them 20. Thank you for a memorable vacation.

The hot tub jets did not work properly, but a call to maintenance was not made due to it was not a major issue. The only reason "No" was checked for "Would you stay in this property again?" because we usually try to stay in different cabins each year, butwe use American Patriot Getaways each time. Loved the property, and location!

Great little family getaway! The cabin was wonderful:) I looked around for months before I booked and was happy I did. The rooms were spacious and entire cabin was adorable. Very clean and well kept. We will definitely book with you guys in the future andsend referrals your way. The location is great... close enough to downtown Gatlinburg but yet still had the true mountain experience. The only negative was we were not warned about the racoons that like to hang out and party on the decks in the wee hours of the night lol
