Grand Spring Rod Run

April 16th – 17th, 2020

Spring Grand Rod Run Thousands of classic car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts make the pilgrimage to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville, Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains each year. Pigeon Forge is a popular host to rod runs and car shows. Participants love to take their classic car or hot rod group on a Smoky Mountain scenic drive or just cruise the parkway.  The event will be based at LeConte Event Center just off Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge.

A $10,000 cash prize is given, and awards range from King of the Hill to People’s Choice.  Set up your lawn chair on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and watch the parade of classic cars all weekend long. Don’t forget to book one of our awesome car show cabins to have a nice place to park your hot rod all weekend.

Easter Egg Hunt at Patriot Park

April 11, 2019

The annual tradition is back again for 2020!  Events begin at 10:30 a.m. with inflatables and games for kids of all ages.  The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m.  Kids will be split into four age groups, ranging from 0-3 to 10-12 to give everyone a fair chance to play.  The eggs are filled with candy and prizes.  This event is free and open to the public.  Be sure to stop and take a photo with the Easter bunny after your hunt is over!

Music in the Mountains Parade

May 1st, 2020

Dolly Parade homecoming paradeLike most parades, the Pigeon Forge Music in the Mountains Parade is filled with marching bands, entertainers, floats, baton twirlers, horses and other colorful entries.

In keeping with the Music in the Mountains parade theme, free bluegrass entertainment will be featured throughout the city on Friday and Saturday—with a few memory-making surprise performances that are sure to draw a crowd.

Cal Ripken, Jr. serves as the grand marshal of the parade.  Also for 2020 are four larger-than-life-sized cold-air balloons. Three depict popular children’s characters and the fourth, a baseball measuring 10-feet in diameter, recognizes the Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge.

The parade traditionally begins at 6:00 P.M. You should arrive early though so you can get the best view.

NOTE: You can expect traffic congestion and delays during this event. Please plan accordingly. Come in Thursday to avoid the traffic on Friday.

Dollywood’s Barbeque & Bluegrass

April 23rd –  May 2nd, 2020

Barbeque and BluegrassBring your barbeque eating hands and your bluegrass tapping feet to the Dollywood Barbeque and Bluegrass Festival!
