Dollywood, The Cal Ripken Experience, The Island and more are just down the road. Enter the cabin from level parking across the covered porch and into the spacious, vaulted, main living area. Stone fireplaces, LED TV’s, and a custom kitchen with dining area are all open concept. Downstairs a large game room with pool table also includes a theater area with reclining theater style seating. Comfortably decorated bedrooms, log beds, and LED TV’s add some mountain luxuries.

Shagbark Resort community in Wears valley is off of Highway 321, located 7 miles from Pigeon Forge. It’s a gated community with spaciously placed cabins that share resort amenities such as a pool and tennis courts, as well as stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and park-like, wooded views for the more secluded cabins. In the area are streams and scenic walks, and the terrain is fairly steep, offering a true mountain feel.

Wears Valley is nicknamed “Jewel of the Smokies.” Situated between Townsend and Pigeon Forge on the northern side of the Smoky Mountains, Wears Valley is where you’ll find mom-and-pop shops and quirky boutiques and restaurants. While the town isn’t an official entrance to the Smokies, it’s commonly known by insiders as being the “secret entrance” because it’s less crowded. Wears Valley is brimming with scenic drives, tranquil views, and the kind of friendly faces that make this town so special.

Shagbark consists of 1300 acres divided into 800 lots. It’s very close to Walden’s Creek area, which has a great riding stables and vast areas of riding and hiking trails. Shagbark is a gated community, for the security-conscious, and you’ll need access to get in. In winter, some cabins may require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access, so check with our reservation staff beforehand.
