Fun For Kids Of All Ages

There are many Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg attractions that will provide hours of entertainment for the entire family. Whether you like museums, miniature golf, scenic helicopter rides, arcades, go carts, snow boarding, or ziplining, you’ll have tons of fun for kids of all ages in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Museums

If you’re a fan of muscle cars, you need to check out Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum in Sevierville.  There are more than 90 cars inside and 5,000 artifacts in the museum.  From classic to modern, you’ll find it all.

In Gatlinburg, check out the Hollywood Star Cars Museum.  See some of the best well known cars from classic and modern movies.  Inventory is always changing, but a few on display right now include the entire collection from The Fast & Furious!

Meet your favorite celebrity, or at least their wax doppelganger, at Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge.

The Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville is a must see for the kid who loves airplanes.  Explore the 50,000 square foot hangar and even take a photograph behind the wings of a plane.

It’s hard to miss The Titanic Museum on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.  This amazing attraction is a half-size replica of the real ship.  While the real Titanic met her demise in 1912, the one in Pigeon Forge is still going strong.  The Titanic Museum presents special audio tours just for kids.

Miniature Golf Anyone?

Sevierville offers Ripley’s Old McDonald’s Farm Mini golf, located just past the Pigeon Forge city limits.  Two courses for 36 holes of family fun for kids of all ages.  Get a hole in one and you win a free game!

In Pigeon Forge, check out Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf.  Like Old MacDonald’s, you have two courses.  Ride a mine train to get to the first holes of each.

Gatlinburg offers Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf and Hillbilly Golf. Hillbilly Golf an unforgettable downhill mini golf experience.  A Smoky Mountain classic to be sure!

Outdoor Adventure

Outdoor Adventures of the Smokies in Sevierville is a one stop shop.  Providing monster truck rides, helicopter rides, ATV rides, horseback rides, Jeep tours, whitewater rafting, river tubing, guided fishing trips and plane rides.

For horseback riding check out Walden’s Creek Riding Stables, Big Rock Dude Ranch and Five Oaks Riding Stables and Adventure Park.  Five Oaks Adventure park also offers Zipline tours and you can even zipline at night.

Ziplining has become big business in the Smokies with Zipline establishments popping up all over the area.  If you haven’t been ziplining yet, it is a must for all ages. Other Zipline companies include, Wahoo Ziplines, Smoky Mountain Ziplines & Canopy Tours, FoxFire Mountain and Climbworks Smoky Mountains.

For a super unique experience, check out Outdoor Gravity Park of Pigeon Forge.  You, or you and two of your closest friends, can hop into a clear sphere and slip and slide your way down the mountain.  Cool off and laugh hysterically all day long.

Learning – with a twist

What happens when you perform a top secret laboratory experiment in the Bermuda Triangle?  Well, that’s top secret.  But what we do know is Wonderworks was once a laboratory and an experiment gone awry lifted it up and away to Pigeon Forge, planting it square on the Parkway! This 35,000 square foot attraction bills itself as a edu-taining.  The kids can run and play, all while getting in a little bit of learning whichi keeps learning fun for kids of all ages!

Speed Racin’

For the kids or kids at heart, there are lots of arcades and go kart tracks to visit.

The Track Family Fun Center has it all.  From go carts, to bumper boats, bungee jumping and an arcade – you’ll find it at The Track.  For pint-sized patrons there is Kid’s Country, offering the most kids rides in town.

There are several other Go-Cart tracks who also offer bumper cars and arcades.  In Pigeon Forge there is Adventure Raceway, Fast Tracks, Rockin’ Raceway, Smoky Mountain Slick Track, Speed Zone Fun Park, and Star Tracks.

For NASCAR fans, Sevierville features NASCAR Speedpark.

In Gatlinburg, check out Cooter’s Place where you can race the General Lee on the indoor slick track.  These carts are fast and fun.  Imagine 40 laps at speeds of up to 23 mph.

Free Family Fun

There are plenty of FREE things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains as well! The natural beauty and allure of the Great Smoky Mountain destinations of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is easy to understand.  With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as the backdrop, these three vacation destinations allow guests to discover some all natural organic and free fun.

A visit to Cades Cove is a must, an 11 mile one way loop that winds around the valley, complete with wildlife, campgrounds, bike rentals, spectacular foliage in autumn, and facilities for horseback riding.

Don’t miss Newfound Gap Road, a 33-mile drive from Gatlinburg to Cherokee North Carolina.  This is the only route completely traversing the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  The drive offers a unique opportunity to enjoy most everything the Park has to offer.  And without trekking too far from your vehicle.
