Spending the winter holidays in an American Patriot Getaways cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains can be dreamy and definitely memory making. Black Bear Holler
A charming 2 bed / 2 bath cabin that sleeps 6, Black Bear Holler! Named for our most famous local wildlife, Black Bear Holler is conveniently located outside Pigeon Forge in the Goose Gap area. Accessed without any steep mountain roads, it’s an easy drive to The Titanic attraction, Tanger Outlets, go-cart racing, and all the fun, shows, dining, and attractions.
Enter from level parking across the screened porch with a dining table for 6. Two queen log bedroom and two full baths make this cabin perfect for both couples and families. A queen sleeper sofa in the comfy living room with stone / gas fireplace and LED TV is perfect for any extra guests. The full kitchen and gas grill make dining-in a treat. After dinner, linger on the screened-in porch for a game of cards, or retire to the living room and watch your favorite team.
Gatlinburg Movie Mansion
Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths
Gatlinburg Movie Mansion – located in Gatlinburg just off Ski Mountain Road between downtown and the Ober Mountain and its winter wonderland – was built for entertaining. Just off the courtyard an incredible movie theater is constructed inside its own theater building just like the real thing. Turn the volume up! Guests inside the cabin will never hear it.
Outdoor living areas including a garden courtyard with bubbling hot tub for 6, a private gazebo, and covered porches make being outside as much fun as staying in – especially if you get to build a snowman. Inside the main house, guests can spread out and enjoy 5 bedrooms on two levels of luxury mountain living. Fowl Play

Fowl Play is an amazing getaway for up to 4 people. This open concept cabin has a custom kitchen for whipping up your favorite holiday meals and sweet treats. If you’ve got warmer weather during your holiday getaway, relax out on the custom porch swing. Whether it’s hot or cold out, the bubbly hot tub us an incredible place to relax and unwind day or night. The king master suite even offers a fireplace for a snuggly evening in. High speed internet rounds out all the incredible amenities!
Moose Tracks
Sleep 6 with 1 bedroom and 1 bath
Moose Tracks is a custom-built Luxury one bedroom one bath log cabin with lots of privacy. Follow the “Moose Tracks” to this truly wonderful log cabin and enjoy an UNFORGETTABLE Smoky Mountain getaway. If you’re like my family, you cook all your holiday meals. The kitchens in our cabins are fully equipped – though any special equipment such as ricers, food processors, immersion blenders or Sous Vide machines, you should pack along with you.

And then there’s Ober-Mountain – a winter adventure that will keep the whole family entertained.
Start your day at Ober Mountain by boarding the Aerial Tramway in downtown Gatlinburg and avoid the drive up the mountain while taking in, arguably, the best views as you soar above Gatlinburg for more than 2 miles. The cable car has been taking passengers from downtown Gatlinburg to the Ober amusement park and ski area since August 1973. Check out this video for a taste of what you’ll experience!
Once you reach the top, outdoor adventures at Ober Mountain include Skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and the children’s play area – Cubbies Snow Zone – where younger children can just, well, play in the snow for $5 or free with a current ski area ticket.
Ober Mountain has 10 trails from beginner to advanced, including a freestyle Terrain Park. There are seven lifts to get you there. Check out the Slope report and the live webcams.
