Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies will ring in 2013 with its 12th annual “Dance with the Sharks” New Year’s Eve Party. Dec. 31, 2012.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the underwater world of Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies while they party the night away and welcome a brand new year.
The party will feature the band Kevin McGuire & Friends, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a personal souvenir photo, champagne toast and fireworks in downtown Gatlinburg near the Space Needle.
“Our party is unique, fun and great for the entire family,” said Ryan DeSear, general manager of Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. “You can dance, eat and party throughout the aquarium until 1 a.m., plus just prior to midnight we all go out to the aquarium’s plaza and watch the city of Gatlinburg’s fireworks display and ball drop. It’s always an incredible event.”
Tickets are $149.99 per couple, $79.99 for singles, and $25.99 for children ages three to 17, plus sales tax.
