Holidays in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee are not only beautiful but filled with fun family things to do including many Christmas shows!

Here are some of our favorites this year:

Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry– Canceled for 2020 season

The Smoky Mountain Opry’s Christmas show is a spectacular of fun, comedy, singing, dancing, magical special effects and feats of strength that shouldn’t be missed.

The multi-million dollar production “features sugar plum fairies, soaring angels, dancing elves, enchanted reindeer, Jolly ol’ Saint Nick, and most importantly, the celebration of the birth of Christ with the area’s largest living nativity.”

“Mischievous elves invite you into Santa’s workshop where giant toys come to life and angels soar high above.”

Santa even makes an appearance!

The show, located at 2046 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, includes an incredible cast of singers, dancers, comedians, live animals and a huge band. The show runs through Jan. 4 – (865) 428-7469.

Celebrate the sounds of the season with award-winning holiday musical productions including live performances of Dollywood’s own Christmas in the Smokies – one of its greatest traditions – that celebrates the joy of the season while a cast of 14 singer/dancers perform hometown holiday favorites accompanied by a band of eight live musicians
