The Zip Line was Assume a great Experince for a couple 77 years old! The Bear Visits on the Property Were Fantastic and the Bears were well Behaved!!

We have stayed at Looky Yonder four times in the past five years. This is one of our favorite cabins, mainly because every year, there's bears that come in the yard'..every year. So if you want to see bears, stay in this cabin.

This was our first visit to Tennessee. Not only did we live the are but we also loved the cabin. It was spacious and clean and exactly what we envisioned. We look forward to stay there again in the future.

We absolutely loved this cabin! Everything was spectacular and clean! There was plenty of seating in the family room, extra blankets to stay warm when the weather got cold, and gorgeous views. The fireplace was my favorite. My daughter loved the loft, the sun room, and having her own bathroom. The two bedrooms on the main floor had comfy, king size beds and nice, warm bathrooms. A few extra pillows with varying thickness could be a great addition. The extra half bath in the main floor was a great bonus. The re is a zip line tower a few hundred feet in the woods. You could not hear them inside and it was fun to watch the zip liners while outside. Otherwise the cabin provides excellent privacy. We were treated to two deer in the backyard one day. We would defin itely stay here again!

This was our second time using APG this year, again, we loved it. There is nothing that we would change about either of our vacations. Both properties were beautiful and exactly what they were supposed to be. We will be staying with APG again.

We have stayed at an APG property the last 4 years, different cabin each time, and have never had any major issues. Check in and out is a breeze. Great cabin. The view was outstanding. Couldn?t ask for more. The cabin was fantastic and the front deck was so amazing. We saw bears 3 times during our stay. I loved that it was pretty secluded. Awesome time and can?t wait to come back for sure

This was an amazing cabin!!! I have stayed in a few different properties but this one topped the cake for me!! I absolutely loved the view!! Also the first night there while in the hot tub a bear come walking up from no where..it was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLA CE EVER!!! I would definitely go back!

This is our second year staying at Looky Yonder. It's a beautiful cabin on top of a mountain, with beautiful views and bears. Yes, bears. Last year we had a bear visit us one day. This year, we had a Mama and her three cubs visit us three times during three-day stay. We got so many wonderful pictures and videos of the bears, especially the cubs as they played. We will be booking it again next year to make it 3 years in a row. This cabin is gorgeous, clean, nice furniture, comfortable beds.... I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing cabin with beautiful views. On our second to last night we had a momma black bear and three cubs come play in the front yard for about fifteen minutes. Amazing site. Very peaceful.

Our stay in this beautiful cabin was so amazing! The view , the cabin , everything thing was just perfect! We saw a black bear ON THE FIRST DAY! So just be aware! But overall we all had a blast & I HIGHLY recommend this place! Its a great getaway spot we will be visiting back again very soon!

This last one of the best having sweet feed and we got to see a bear and that was really exciting it was very clean and away from people and relaxing we really enjoyed ourselves we actually wanted to stay an extra night but unfortunately it was already boo ked

We used this cabin for a girls weekend. It was remote with no neighbors except for the bear that we would see in the morning. He would just lay there and watch us. The cabin was exceptionally clean, gorgeous views and couldn't have been any better. We& lready said we plan on this cabin again next year instead of different one.

Stunning views, beautiful area. Cabin was great...clean and spacious....bears visited us three days in a row! Wandered right by in the front yard....so just be cautious...amazing experience.Only issue I would suggest to fix is the ceiling fan in bedroom , it is loud....Other than that we enjoyed our stay....

It was a great cabin, loved the location and especially like the open space. It gave grandkids an area to play and not be under foot. Liked that we not right on top of another cabin. My grandson said the only thing that would have may it perfect would be a pool, lol. We will definitely book this cabin again.

Going through old emails I had to respond to this one,..because we had the best Christmas at Looky Yonder!We got snowed out one evening and the staff at American Patriot Getaways were so great in helping us.We called because we didn't know what else to even with our 4 wheel drive we couldn't get up the driveway.They sent the most kind young man with snow shovels in hand and he and my husband cleared the driveway.We have nothing but praise for American Patriot Getaways! Everything was so easy with che n and check out,the property was beautiful! Will definitely stay again,..and bring a snow shovel to keep in the truck.

This was the 2nd time that we've stayed in THIS cabin. We've been vacationing in Gatlinburg for 20 years..usually about once a year. We've always shopped around and stayed in different cabins, condos or hotels. Looky Yonder is BY FAR our favorite. Our 2nd stay was just as wonderful as our first, and I'm sure we'll book it again in the future. In fact, my husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in May and have already booked another of your cabins for that occasion. My husband joked t hat y'all should give us some kind of frequent renter reward. We'll be back again soon.

Recently my husband and I stayed at Looky Yonder cabin. It was absolutely the best cabin, location we have ever stayed in. So clean, the views were amazing and we caught a glimpse of a bear. My husband has a hard time sleeping but slept like a baby on your beds. We look forward to returning with our kids!!!

We have stayed at other American Patriots cabins and have always enjoyed our time down this. Looky Younder is an excellent cabin and when we checked in the cabin was VERY clean and to our liking. We are actually planning on reserving this cabin again if you have the Christmas day special like you did last year. Sure hope you have that special again this year.

I just wanted to say that we have stayed at about 10 Patriot Getaway Cabins (big and small) and this one was my favorite. The view was absolutely beautiful. The first day a black bear passed through, which the kids loved. The driveway is very steep, but th e cabin is secluded so I expected that. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor spaces in this cabin, more than we even used. The tv, washer/dryer and refrigerator are large, which is helpful. I honestly plan to stay at this cabin again, and I have never stay ed at the same cabin twice. Oh and the 3.5 bathrooms is awesome for a family of 5.

We had a great time at Looky Yonder. It was so difficult to find a cabin for our child who has special needs(autism). We felt very safe and loved the cabin and view. We look forward to our next stay.

I truly enjoyed my stayed at the Lookey Yonder cabin. The views were magnificent. Even though the acommodations met our expectations; I was more impressed with the Patriot GetWay staff. We absolutely loved "Looky Yonder"!!! Cabin was beautiful and loved the fact that it was remotely located. We will definitely try to stay again! No complaints just two suggestions, a blow dryer and more pillows. Cabin was well furnished and views were outs tanding! Can't say enough about it. Had a great vacation! Thanks for having us:)

We have stayed at APG properties several times, and have had such great experiences that we do not even consider another rental company. From the spot on description of the properties to the outstanding staff, no reason to look anywhere else. Looky Yonde r has been one of our favorite cabins. The owner even called to see how we were enjoying the stay! The cabin was clean, and just as described. The view was amazing, and the only thing I can say we would have changed is the brush could have been cut back a little to give an even more impressive view. Our family would like to express our appreciation to not only the great staff of APG, but also to the owner for such a tremendous cabin! What an amazing vacation! This cabin was sparkling clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. The seclusion was perfect. The only negative thing was the grass could have been cut a little lower and the trees/bushes could have been trimmed dow n to allow for a better view of the mountains while sitting on thew porch. But overall, we were very pleased with this cabin and APG as a whole. We will DEFINITELY stay with APG in the future. We had a little snow while we were visiting. Thought we would be stuck for a day or so, however, the Cobbly Nobb security had already salted the roads. Even though it was a steep drive, we were able to get in and out with NO problems! The cabin was beau tiful and we had a great time. We will definately be back!

We stayed at LOOKY YONDER for our honeymoon, and had a wondersful stay with no complaints! The cabin was very clean, and exceeded our expectations. It was very homey, and we spent most of our trip relaxing. The view from the porch and hot tub was amazing a nd peaceful. We only wished we brought a few candles for the power outage we experienced during a storm- but the power was restored within a few short hours. Our hot tub had showed signs of needing maintenance during our stay- there was someone out to fix it very quickly, and they had it running for that night. Overall we were very happy with our stay, and hope to plan another trip next year!

The Stay was absolutely excellent. It was completely secluded, but only a 10-15 min drive from Gatlinburg. We even had a bear with two cubs come up to the cabin, but not threatening just passing through. Excellent cabin I would definitely stay again. THANK S....

We had a wonderful stay and wonderful memories were certainly made. The cabin and view were both terrific. I really liked the seclusion. The cabin was very clean, actually the cleanest I have seen with a cabin rental. I really enjoyed all of the extras wit h the cabin from the T.V. in the sunroom to the coffee cups and small appliances in the kitchen to the nice bedding and all of the furniture including the glider and recliner in the living room to the "smoking" pots outside and everything in between. A++ t o all of the extras!! However, the telephone and internet were both out during our stay...hopefully that has been resolved. The lady that took my reservation was very sweet too! I would suggest that blinds be placed on the kitchen window and on the glass d oor in the kitchen and the two glass doors in the living room and possibly some type of privacy blinds on the full walled windows in the living room. Other than that I can't really think of anything I would add that hasn't been thought of already. Thank yo

What a fabulous cabin!! It was so enjoyable that we almost cried when it was time to leave. The view was breathtaking!... The cabin beautiful and incredibly secluded. We so appreciated the opportunity to stay in this wonderful cabin! And as always, the APG staff was a pleasure to deal with. We spent 4 nights in this cabin. Our stay couldnt have been better!! The cabin was exaclty as pictured and described on the website and was even better in person. I would refer anyone to this cabin, the seclusion and the view are second to none. I did a to n of research before I chose a cabin since we traveled from Ohio to stay in Gatlinburg. My girlfriend and I are planning on coming back and staying in this cabin again!! American Patriot was hassle free. I booked it all on-line and didnt have to stop anywh ere to check in or out of the cabin which was nice. The cabin is also located less than 5 minutes from a golf course, so if you are a golfer you have to stay here! Thanks for a great stay on our trip.

This was our first "family" vacation and I all I can say is that it was AMAZING! The cabin was beautiful and the view was equally as beautiful. The cabin was perfectly located....we loved the fact that it was mostly secluded but still within a very short drive to tourist attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There is no doubt that we will be returning (hopefully next year) The booking process was very simple and the girls we dealt with at APG were so nice! We ended up adding an additional day to our stay and all we did was make one quick phone call and we were all set. Thank you APG and to the owner of this cabin for allowing us to have a vacation we will never forget!

We absolutly LOVED this cabin! We are already planning another trip with more people, so we will have to get a bigger cabin, but Looky Yonder was AWESOME! We didn't see any bears or anything much more than a cute little bunny in the yard, but that was ok w ith us. Everything was great. The view was beautiful...the hot tub was so nice to relax in and you could see the sunrise and set from it. The seclusion of Looky Yonder was great for a relaxing, quiet get-a-way. We wished we had a couple more nights when it was time to pack up and go. This was a great trip and I will be looking forward to renting this cabin again in the future!

We had a wonderful time and plan to book this cabin again. Below are a few items we felt you should be aware of: 1. Hot tub - Only 1 set of jets are working 2. There were many spiders, ants and beatles/water roaches in the cabin 3. We experienced a po wer outage and it would have been nice if there were candles available 4. Extra trash bags would be helpful 5. We also would have liked to had another set of coffee mugs as we didn't want to contantly run the dish washer 6. WIFI would be a great add as well Please do not take this list as us having any major issues...we really, really had a wonderful time and loved everything about the cabin and we especially loved the fact it is so remote!! Let me start my saying we have been coming to Gatlinburg for 15 years and have stayed with another company, but different cabins, and this by far was the nicest we have stayed in! We felt at home the min. we walked in, and the view was awesome! Normally it s just a yearly getaway for my husband and I. But this year we came in the spring and brought our son and his girlfriend, and they had a great time.More great family memories were made! The first morning we got woke up by wild turkeys outside the window! It was pretty neat, we sure don't get that here in Indiana. The cabin was very clean and the view was amazing! The only suggestion I might have is to have a couple extra towels and maybe some cookie sheets. :) We definitely will be coming back! Thanks a gain for a great weekend! Shannon, Todd,Chris and Aubrey

Absolutely beautiful cabin for our family to spend a little time together. The setting was positively gorgeous. I did have intentions of calling your company to let them know that we killed a few wasps in the family room, which I thought was kind of odd th is time of year. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Also, a big thank you to your representative (I believe her name was Theresa). She was very helpful, friendly, and just a doll to speak with. we had a lovely time. we did so many things when we were there and we decided the next time we would make sure to take a few days to just stay at the cabin. we loved being in it but we didnt get to stay and just enjoy it like we wanted. just to much to do, but i promise our time will be spent at the cabin. we didnt want to leave the cabin.the beds were so comforatble. it was the best sleep i had gotten in weeks. the view was breathe taking. loved everything about it and we will stay again. wanting to come b ack in june or july. thank you for our stay. the cabin and staff were great. thank you. christine.

Been staying with APG for over six years now, love this company. Only sugguestion that I have is, make a map that shows the exact location of each cabins in there area of location. Because, some people want to get two or more cabins close for their fa milies. I know I like getting onces kinda close for my kids and their families. Really love getting cabins with APG.
