It was such a beautiful view, plenty of space for everyone

Our family enjoyed this cabin more than any we have ever stayed at. There was so much space for our group of 11 that we didn't feel like we were cramped. Our favorite spot was on the deck sitting on a cool evening enjoying the warmth from the see through fireplace. We cooked a lot during our stay so it was nice that the kitchen was furnished with all the necessities. We also had several bear siting's which was the ultimate experience. One even got in my son's car (oops they forgot to lock it). Thank goodness there wasn't any food left in the car and it didn't tear anything up! We will definitely stay at Above the Smokies again!

We really enjoyed our stay! This cabin was in the perfect location to get to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Taking Loafer's Way instead of Rose Pass was much easier of a drive - just FYI. GPS took us straight to the cabin, but we had the directions from the website just in case. I think the only thing we lacked was kitchen towels and more bath towels. Everything else was great and cabin was clean. Appliances worked great (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, stove, Keurig, TV in living room/1st floor bedrooms/movie room, washer/dryer). Driveway was easy to get in and out of. Sunrise and sunset view were beautiful. We had a great view of what we think was Mount Le Conte. You could see the smoke on the mountains every morning. Just beautiful! Would stay here again for sure.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at View of the Smokies Lodge — and what a beautiful view it has! Many cups of coffee were consumed on the deck, just taking it all in. Such a well cared for property, we felt truly blessed to have spent time there. The only disappointment was that the days passed much too quickly.
