Nice cabin which was perfect for our family get away. Met all of our needs. Would have been nice to know we needed to bring our own drinking water because we got in late, but it wasn't a big inconvenience. House shoes or socks may help with noise at night as it can echo a bit, which is to be expected with the all wood interior. Was clean and exactly as described. Would definitely stay again!

The road going to the cabin from the parkway was in very bad condition. At night, it in my opinion, it was a dangerous drive returning to the cabin. Oncoming traffic headlights made it difficult to see the road. By the way, am a senior driver so that probably had something to do with it.

When we were not able to get in the drive due to my car being too low, the staff found us another cabin since we had not checked in yet. We are very appreciative of the people who helped us. We could have not asked for better customer service.

Shaconage Rest is an amazing little gem not far from all things Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Quite neighborhood with good parking and easy accessible main floor. Would be great for people with limited mobility as a bedroom, bathroom and all common areas ar e on the main floor. The upstairs master bedroom and loft have some great views that are worth looking out at the morning sunrise! Would stay at this cabin again!
