This company was recommended to me so we used it for our first Tennessee vacation! I loved how you could narrow your search down to what specifically you wanted in a cabin as the view was most important to us. It did not disappoint! The view was amazing! T he cabin was amazing. We even arrived 20 minutes early before check in and they had no issues letting us get in. The only complaint we have: Shortly after arriving we noticed the fire alarm was beeping. (Which was quite funny because I have had the same is sue at home, that we seem to not be able to fix). So we called maintenance that came out while we were gone and fixed it. So'we thought! It continued to beep the entire trip and drove me crazy! But LITERALLY the only complaint. Everything was perfect and everyone was so friendly!

My kids (4,6&10) keep asking, "when are we going back to mountains" This was a quick getaway from school and the ER (I'm a ER RN). The view was so spectacular that we didn't even venture into the surrounding activities! My kiddos love bumper pool so that increased the valuable family time together! We stayed inthe eagles nest and that hill is a killer workout!! My husband and I both ran upand down for our workouts. We enjoyed the black bear decor. My littles thought the games and toys so cool. The kitchen was well stocked and the counter hadenough room for everyone to pitch in and eat together. Our Christmas tree earns ornaments every year to represent our special times together, we most definitelyhave a black bear now! Thanks for the memories, Suz Balkas

My family and I just left Douglas Lake and stayed at Eagles Nest! We absolutely loved the cabin! It was fully furnished with everything we needed and more! The views are breathtaking, the grounds are gorgeous and the cabin was so comfy! If I can to say any thing it would be that one one set of jets worked in the hot tub but we didnt mind that at all! We would definitely recommend this cabin and APG to everyone! I was absolutely thrilled with our stay and the service!From VA

My family had an AMAZING stay at Eagles Nest! Cabin was everything and more in terms of description listed of cabin and its amenities and views, which were breathtaking!! Eagles Nest was perfect for our family and was CLEAN and COMFY!! No complaints wha tsoever, and I would definitely recommend American Patriot Getaways and this cabin to anyone!! We will be back next year and if not in Eagles Nest, we will lodge in another one of American Patriots fabulous cabins!

The biggest thing we noticed that wasnt the best was only 2 - 3 jets worked in the hot tub. Luckily only 2 of us wanted to get in. The hot tub was clean though. Would like to have known address of cabin before reserving as it was farther out then we would have liked. We were there for a volleyball tournament in Gatlinburg. All in all we had a fantastic time.

I've used APG on five previous instances in the last fifteen years....except one...I used another company...and that was a mistake...never fails with the quality I get from APG cabins. This one was great. The conditions inside were perfect. Although as concerned as to the location being a distance from Gatlinburg, it became irrelevant as this cabin made up for any distance matter. As then and now, I will again use APG for cabin rentals. Thanks.

It was a great place and enjoyable. The only things I?d like to note are that only half or less of the jets worked in the hot tub, but it was still sweet having that to use, and the number of pillows. Minor things really, but wanted you to know.
