Pot O Gold is the cleanest, most well supplied cabin we have ever been to! Our group of between 6-14 ladies have been coming to the Gatlinburg area for 24 years. This is the first house that had it all. Cleanest with absolutely no dirty areas or tiny c ritters or webs ANTWHERE! How do you do that in the mountains? We have never been so well stocked on paper products and dishes with enough room in the cupboards for good as well. The only drawback to us returning to this amazing house is the entrance. We are all over 70 or pushing it so as a thought, have you ever looked into putting a ramp from the upper parking pad to the landing of the front door? It is almost even and it would make entry into this wonderful house a breeze! The layout of the house is perfect with comfortable beds throughout!

Towards the end of our trip (Saturday night) the water had an awful smell! It was a rotten egg smell! Other than that the cabin was GREAT!! We will be back!

Our overall experience in our cabin was great. We made memories there that we will have for a lifetime. The staff was so easy to work with and made our stay run very smoothly. The quality of the cabin was good, aside from a few chairs that didn't recline a nd the water (none of us are used to water with excess sulfur in it) but we adjusted. The cabin was very clean upon our arrival. This cabin was great for its value. We will for sure use American Patriot Getaways again in the future, and would likely stay i n this cabin again. We left in a hurry and left a few things behind, including a key to our apartment. Did the cleaning company find any keys laying around or any other miscellaneous items that we could perhaps have shipped to our location? We would be wil ling to pay the shipping costs. It was the most enjoyable vacation we have had as a family. Getting in an out of the cabin was a little difficult for my handicapped wife and the bed was a little high for her but she made it OK. Everyone loved the cabin and there was room for everyone to enjoy whatever activity they wanted to do. Devotions on the porch was a wonderful way to worship God and be reminded of the beauty of His Creations. We loved it.

We had oraginialy booked another cabin , then some more people decided to go so we had to book another cabin. The person that helped me (I think her name was Natalie). Helped us find another cabin that we could afford. She was very nice and was so helpf ul. I have been renting from APG for several years and I've only had positive experiences. Some of the people that came with us had never rented a cabin before and they were very impressed.
