As our country calls for unity, Titanic Museum Attraction is doing its part to unite and reunite couples in the name of love during the ship’s Valentine month celebrations. Now’s the time for romantics to pop the question, say their “I do’s” or renew their wedding vows in one of the most romantic places anywhere…at the top of Titanic’s Grand Staircase. Official ceremonies will be conducted by the ship’s Captain, announces Mary Kellogg, Titanic Museum Attraction’s President/COO and Co-Owner.

What the World Needs Now

“Like the song says, ‘What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love,’ and that’s what our guests will find plenty of during February Love Month on Titanic. This is especially true for couples renewing their wedding vows in the most glorious and romantic of all places, the spot where the epic movie’s Rose and Jack embraced and fell in love…the top of Titanic’s Grand Staircase. Believe me, you’ll feel on top of the world just as they did, standing on the world’s only exact recreation of the Titanic’s Grand Staircase while reaffirming your love,” Kellogg says.

One of the most exciting moments a couple can experience is to relive their big day by facing each other, with love in their hearts while repeating the sacred vows they took years ago. Titanic Pigeon Forge can make that happen with Sweetheart packages that cover all arrangements, from a magnificent ship’s tour to Valentine gift packages, to a special Grand Staircase presentation.

The Titanic, a White Star Liner ship, set sail from Southampton, England and was headed to New York City when it hit an iceberg about 370 miles southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia. There were 24 honeymooners on the ship. If you want to know more about them, the Titanic, and the Titanic Museum, then check out our blog post.

Find the museum at at 2134 Parkway in Pigeon Forge – you can’t miss it! The ship-shaped building was designed half-scale to the original luxury cruise liner, which was 882 feet in length, and at the time, the largest man-made moving object on Earth. The museum ship seems to be in motion cutting through the sidewalks and onto the streets of Pigeon Forge – towering above and beckoning visitors.
