When you plan your holiday visit to the Great Smoky Mountains, you’ll need to find holiday meals in the Smokies. While your cabin has a fully equipped kitchen ready for your family, cooking might not be your idea of a vacation.  There are lots of places ready and open for business in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.  Check out our compiled list of restaurants open for Christmas or for pick up for Christmas!  Of course, always call ahead and double check before heading out for a meal.

According to the Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce, here is a list of restaurants open on Christmas Eve:

Christmas Eve Restaurants

Brick & Spoon

Rise & Dine is the motto at Brick & Spoon – a growing franchise based in Lafayette, LA, where lunch, breakfast and brunch are served until 2 p.m. everyday. Brick & Spoon describes itself as a destination breakfast place – and that couldn’t be more true. The food is all Instagram ready – so make sure your phone is charged when you go.

“The Brick & Spoon concept is built upon the success story of New Orleans style casual breakfast/brunch dining and coffee house venues.

The Menu

Check out the fun menu  here! From biscuits, French toast, baked brie   bruschetta with caramelized apples, golden raisins, pecans and a balsamic reduction to the Killer Creole Omelet and a variety of benedicts -including crab cake and oyster, this upscale southern brunch at its best. Ready for an eye-opening cocktail too? Brick & Spoon has you covered with a build-your-own Bloody Mary menu with more than 50 choices, along with interesting drinks including Momma’s Mojito and the Cock Fight – Skyy Vodka, spiced rum, orange juice and white cranberry juice.

Curl de le Crème

Customize your own creation at this Pigeon Forge eatery and the curlers will make it beautiful and almost too pretty to eat – almost.

Visitors choose an ice cream flavor – vanilla, chocolate, mint, and also vegan vanilla, vegan chocolate and sugar-free vanilla or chocolate. Each order is turned from liquid cream to ice cream as you watch. Choose from a selection of cookies, fruits, cereal, and nut-based pastes to mix in. Fruity Pebbles, peanut butter, Nutella, pecan pie, cherries, coffee and many more to mix in and add on top of the final creation.

The ice cream curls are placed beautifully in a cup, waffle bowl, waffle taco or between 2 Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

The sister owned and founded business, Curl de la Crème shares its seasonal creations on Facebook and Instagram.

The Old Mill Restaurant is noted for its southern cooking. Specialties include signature corn chowder, pot roast and gravy, homemade chicken and dumplings, southern fried chicken, and pecan pie. Biscuits made from scratch, homemade banana nut muffins, and stone ground grits are just a few items featuring products ground at the mill next door. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Dollywood

The theme park is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but before and after, you can join the lights, the music, the fun and the food.

The Front Porch Café

The Front Porch Café is a home base of sorts for new offerings during Smoky Mountain Christmas. “A three-course holiday meal is offered here every day the park is open. Get out of the winter chill and warm up inside this sit-down restaurant with a bowl of Lobster Bisque. With its rich broth and freshly-chopped lobster, this appetizer sets the stage for what’s to come. Follow it up with one of our three seasonal entrees: Creole Roasted Turkey Breast, Pork Loin with Smoked Collards and Roasted Sweet Potatoes or Braised Beef Short Ribs. A tough choice no doubt, but there is no wrong answer really. Be sure to leave room for dessert as this menu features two Christmas-inspired sweets to end the meal. Both the Eggnog Cheesecake and Molten Chocolate Lava Cake are decadent finishes to lunch/dinner.”

Cheese Cake

If you just want to snack, Dollywood has that covered too. Everything from a Fresh Cranberry Spritzer and Peppermint Milkshake

to Lobster Bisque, Chorizo Flatbread Pizza and Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. Check out all the Dollywood holiday dining options here.

Rather eat in your cabin but not cook? Along with The Old Mill’s takeout options, The Old Mill, a national historic treasure established in 1830, also has a catalog of options for cooking yourself or sharing with friends.
